After the success of my highly acclaimed documentaries ‘In Love with My Allotment - David’s Story’ (2008) and ‘Knitting Club - One Woman’s Passion’ (2009), I now bring you ‘Apocalypse War’, an insight into the strange world of Live Action Role Play, or ‘LARPing’ as those involved call it. Basically, the players pursue goals within a fictional setting represented by the real world, while interacting with each other in character. Over the next few weeks I shall be investigating a group of LARPers in Dorset as they attempt to bring about The Apocalypse and recruit new players. You will not believe how seriously these guys take it. I intend for this to be a fully interactive experience so watch, play and be amazed. "
